This page is to promote prayer and support for our clergy so as to renew the Church. The devil is attempting to undermine the Church, display the Church as nothing more than another religious belief of those who choose to believe in a Supreme Being. There are many scandals in the Church because of not so good priests. Even clergy are outwardly denouncing moral teachings of the Church. Finally, priests and laity alike are falling prey to the belief that "all religions are equal" and that we should not be trying to convert others. There are also good priests who are criticized for not compromising with the world, for organizing or supporting peaceful protests against abortion and same-sex "marriage," and for not supporting the heresies of our time. By watching priests, people make judgements on the religion.
Through priests, Christ chooses to give us the sacraments. He chooses to give us grace through priests and we go to priests for instruction on the Faith. But these same priests are men like us; they are also special targets of the devil since they play so important a role in the salvation of men. As men, they need prayers and support- prayers definitely, for without the grace of God, no one can live in grace, and support i.e. the physical help we can give including encouragement, doing our part in teaching the faith, and looking at them with the respect due them as priests of God for this is our responsibility as members of the Church. That is what this page aims to do: promote a spirit of prayer and support for our Catholic priests.

About Prayers for our Catholic Priests

About me

As a daughter of the Church and having claimed St. John the Evangelist, patron of writers, as my patron, I go under the pen name of Johnette Peterson. I am the third eldest of a family of eight and I love young children. My dream job would probably be to join a teaching convent, partly contemplative, and teach the little ones. I also enjoy writing fiction.
I have come to love the Traditional Tridentine Mass and my soul longs for Traditional Catholicism. I believe that through the intercession of Mary and St. Joseph, as well as all the saints and angels and our own cooperation, God will again inflame the hearts of priests, and all the Faithful, as He did for the apostles on Pentecost Morning.

Always more to Learn

The Catholic Faith is rich. It was founded by Christ who is Truth, Itself. The Church has countless doctrines and traditions. She promotes morals with the authority of Christ who is Justice, Itself. It is impossible to know and understand all the doctrines and traditions of the Church in a lifetime. It is interesting to explore the 'why' of the morals the Church teaches and discover the Truth and Justice behind the morals. I will aim to present some Church teachings and contemplation on the riches of the Church on this site.

Loyal to the Magisterium

I hold firm to the teachings of the Church. I will not challenge the infalible statements of any of the Popes or Councils of the Church (post coming soon on infalibility). Out of discretion I will not promote any apparitions not approved by the Church. I aim to present the true teachings of the Church without supporting common views which may directly or indirectly support heresy.
