"It is not only my job and the job of other priests to teach the Faith and bring others to the Church," Father used to tell us. "Get out there in the world and preach!" Father was right of course. It is just as much our job to bring souls to Christ as it is the priest, except the priest has a special role to play by nature of his vocation. We also should pray for priests because of their special role in the salvation of souls. After Confirmation when we become adults in the Church, we also have a special obligation to find out more about our Faith.
